STEP 1:
CONSULTATION
Dr. Hulsey will assess whether your procedure is a good candidate for Solea laser treatment. Most cavity treatments and many soft tissue procedures qualify. He will walk you through what to expect so you feel fully informed before treatment begins.
HOW IT WORKS
ADVANCED LASER TECHNOLOGY
Solea is a CO2 dental laser system designed to replace the drill for most cavity treatments and soft tissue procedures. It provides precise, quiet treatment with greater comfort, making it an excellent option for patients with dental anxiety.
One of the biggest advantages of Solea is that approximately 80% of filling procedures can be completed without local anesthesia, allowing many patients to enjoy a faster, more comfortable dental experience with little interruption to their day.
Dr. James Hulsey has completed advanced Solea training, including Solea Sleep certification for snoring treatment. He uses Solea technology for cavity treatment, minimally invasive soft tissue procedures, and select airway-related treatments, providing modern, comfortable care for a wide range of dental needs.

STEP 2:
LASER TREATMENT
Using the Solea CO2 laser, Dr. Hulsey precisely removes decay or treats the target tissue without the vibration or noise of a traditional drill. In most cases, anesthesia is not required, and the procedure is completed quickly and comfortably.
STEP 3:
RECOVERY
Because there’s no numbing agent involved in most Solea procedures, there’s no lingering numbness after your appointment. Most patients walk out feeling completely normal and are able to eat, drink, and go about their day right away.
